100% Deception:
That sure does already start with the name Nick and Carole Williams have given their place:
a little analysis:
A: We already did have a look at the "Reefview" part of the claim they are making by selecting that name alone. NO REEF VIEW to speak of!
Quite obviously they are using some promotional pictures that are at the least (a) old and (b) tampered with which do give the impression that at least from the Terrace of the "Upper Apartment" you could catch a glimps of the sea.
That may have been the case - a long time ago, ....prior to their neighbor towards the sea had planted his Mango-Tree which since has grown to a very respectable size. So all you can see from that Top-Floor Apartment pretty much is said Mango-Tree (also very pretty, but no "reef view" - yet alone "Grand Ocean View" which they also propagate)
But even without that tree being present, particularly this picture they are using:

I have been there, I have stayed at that very terrace for almost 2 weeks - after staying in their "Beach Cottage" for my first week - but I will get to that later.
Bottom Line is:
The view from that terrace does not look anything like that.
(a) because this one must have been fake to begin with because the beach simply is not that close at all (more like 1km or 1.000 yds away)
and
(b) nowadays there is a huge Mango-Tree in between additionally.
Of course one could argue now, that it is not the fault of Nick and Carole Williams that their "evil neighbor" has planted a Mango Tree which now is obscuring the views they want to make their money of, - but that's just the way it is! If you are too stingy to buy an "ocean front property" to begin with, if you (as they did) settle for a property in forth or fifth row, you just will have to live with the fact that sooner or later either a tree (if you are lucky) will be obscuring that "precious view" - or, worse yet, someone will build another house or hotel in "your vistas" and once that happens you just can't continue to promote "ocean views"!
Don't get me wrong!
That sight of that Mango-Tree is very pretty, but if you want to look out at shrubs you can have that for a fraction of the price Nick and Carole are charging BECAUSE of all of us longing for that special "Grand Ocean View" or "Reef Views". (Which - as you can see above - just is not available)
B.: Furthermore they are creating the impression that they have "at least two" Apartments offering "Reef View" ---- Hence the plural of "Apartments"
But even in their own promotional material they admit, that only that ONE apartment on the upper level offers any vistas of the ocean at all. (Marginal ones, see above, but at least some - which, on the other hand is not too surprising, because on an island the size of Antigua you can catch a glimpse of the ocean pretty much from anywhere)
But: The Apartment below the one on the Top-Floor does not offer ANY views of the Ocean, yet alone the Reef. And they don't even make that claim themselves, even if lying also about that lower level apartment when claiming that it has views of a "lush tropical garden" - while due to the way they have used every last buildable square-inch for their constructions, there simply is not enough room left for anything to be even remotely called a "lush tropical garden".
In any case:
The plural for Reefview Apartments can be called nothing but a lie - another intentional deception luring unsuspecting guests to stay at this place in Cades Bay, St.Mary's, Antigua.

....."and Cottages" they are saying. Correct? Plural it is again.
Not: "Reefview-Apartments and a Cottage" ....
.....nope, they are saying: "Reefview Apartments and Cottages".
Just one little letter ("s") and 100% deception again.
There is nothing but one such "cottage".
And most certainly no room left to ever build another one.
But of course "Cottages" sounds so much better, so much more like a "big & professional operation". ....how could they have resisted?
The "killer" to all of this really is, that they are having the audacity of calling that haphazardly slammed together thing a "Beach Cottage"!
"Beach...." ?? W.T.F.? The beach is a km away!
"Beach Cottage" surely implies that it is at the beach?
...and that is EXACTLY the point!
Once again, the facts clearly show this name-giving to be nothing but a lie, which in turn is:

Maybe all of this would be "so bad"..... all of this, would still be better than the view out of your own window somewhere on the NE-coast of the USA, during cold and nasty and miserable winter month....
But:
-1- There is a huge difference in price between "Beach Front Properties" (being justified in making all the claims these people of Reefview Apartments are making) and off, or off-off, or off-off-off-off beach properties like this one. But Carole fully intends to capitalize on the higher prizes for beachfront without offering it. And that, bottom line, is FRAUD!
- 2 - Still all of this could be offset by exceptional service, and all the other little treats known to and common within the travel-industry. There are some "off-off-off-off-off-beach"-properties on this world which are booked solid by repeat customers all year round, but to get there, its a long and hard road and does take a lot of effort ... and "effort" is something the "Hoarder" Carole (by her own definition and what is visible to the naked eye to anyone who cares to look) but none of these places would VIOLATE their GUEST'S PRIVACY, INTRUDE into the Guests APARTMENTS, SNOOP and PRY in their guests very personal belongings and documents and even SNIFF on garments!... and they most certainly DO NOT STEAL FROM THEIR GUESTS!
