Some Free Advice!

Apparently it has become necessary to monitor your vacation place while not being in your room / apartment.
Tripadvisor finding it "perfectly normal" what is going on at reefview-apartments.com (Antigua) tells a lot about the danger one finds oneself in nowadays!

So especially Single Woman Traveling Alone should get themselves like 2-3 covert surveillance cameras prior to departing from home.

They are like less than $ 50.00 each, (plus SD-Card, go for 36MB!) and can be placed inconspicuously inside your room so you can catch thieves and crooks sort of in the act (and at least can prove the incident and the identity of the perp to the management - or if it is the management themselves like at reefviewapartments than to the police.

Same does hold true if someone i.e. would drug you or enter your room while you are sleeping and do things to you that are unspeakable. Again, at least you will have prove and iron clad evidence on video and such people will not escape their punishment.

I personally am using a few of those, which I bought under a different brand name (and for even less):

That one did a great job in catching the thieves and crooks at Reefview Apartment Antigua "red handed"!

It's easy and reliable to operate even so the "start-button" sometimes does get stuck, so you have to double check if it's on and working prior to leaving your room.

...once again: You can find them cheaper if you are ready to invest a bot of time into searching.


Keeping my fingers crossed you will never find anything recorded in your absence (yet alone while you have been sleeping) that would totally ruin your vacation.
But never the less: Always better safe than sorry! Right?
